How Three Families Worked With Vaultline
Case Study 01 — Family History Capture
The Situation
A family of three adult children wanted to record their 79-year-old grandmother's memories before they were lost. There had been previous attempts to have these conversations informally, but they tended to go in circles or end before anything was captured properly.
The Session
A half-day session was held at the family home in Thonburi. The facilitator used prompted conversation techniques and the recording guide. The grandmother set the pace throughout. Three adult children attended and took turns writing notes using the provided template.
The Outcome
The family left with 14 completed prompt pages and a keepsake template covering four decades. The grandmother later asked to add photographs from her own collection. The children described it as one of the most valuable afternoons they'd spent together in years.

Case Study 02 — Important Records Organiser
The Situation
A retired couple with property in both Bangkok and Chiang Rai had never properly sorted their documents. After a health scare, they realised their adult son wouldn't know where to find anything important in an emergency. Documents were spread across three locations in various states of order.
The Session
A 3-hour working session was held at the Bangkok home. The facilitator guided the couple through the inventory templates while they sorted their own documents — nothing was handled by Vaultline. A second shorter session was held the following week to finalise the system and hand over the upkeep checklist.
The Outcome
All documents inventoried, categorised, and stored in a single accessible location with a summary sheet their son could consult independently. The couple reported feeling noticeably less anxious after the session. They also identified two documents they'd thought were lost.

Case Study 03 — Succession Literacy Program
The Situation
A family business owner in her early 60s wanted to begin thinking about the eventual transition of her assets and wishes to her two children. Previous conversations had become tense — each child had different assumptions about what was planned and neither felt comfortable asking directly.
The Program
The family attended seven sessions over six weeks. The program used the workbook to establish shared vocabulary and concepts first — before any family-specific conversation took place. The facilitator held structured dialogue sessions that gave each member defined space to speak and listen.
The Outcome
The three family members left the program with a shared understanding of the process — and with the communication tools to continue those conversations themselves. The mother subsequently engaged a lawyer and a financial planner independently, feeling prepared to ask the right questions of each.
